Who I Am
Welcome to the blog! My name is Marcos Felipe. I have been attending Worcester State University since Fall 2018 and I am studying Computer Science with a concentration in Software Development and a Mathematics minor. This is my senior year and I hope to go on next year to start a Master’s Degree in CS in Fall 2021. My CS interests include software development and engineering, AI, quantum computing and much more, as I am still exploring.
I live in southcoast Massachusetts and am 20 years old. In my current fall semester, I am taking four CS classes:
- Algorithm Analysis
- Computer Organization & Architecture
- Software Construction, Design, & Architecture
- Software Process Management
So far, I have taken:
- Intro to Programming
- Computer Networking & Security
- Data Structures
- Database Design & Applications
- Discrete Structure I & II
- Unix Systems Programming
As well as classes for my Mathematics minor.
I am familiar/skilled in:
- Java
- C
- Unix
- SQL
Soon, I hope to become familiar and then proficient in Python as well. My next goal after a Master’s Degree would be to find a job in software development/engineering in either Boston or New York City where I can be active in my contribution to a team.
